Her heart is as golden leaves on white trees

Twinkling in the late night sunset

As she smiles, she embraces the world

With her mind, she draws philosopher pearls

She’s always there for you when you need her

Even when her eyes are sad themselves

Her strength is like her long hair,

Woven into eternity, almost never ending

Her mind is a fairy, in worlds of wonder

And even I can get lost in her rich beautiful brain

She’s special and unique, as no one is.

I found a true friend, with European roots,

And an Arabic heart, rich of cultures and places

Nia, do you know how special you are?

And how your light shines bright,

You’re a mystery of beauty in all your ways

And a fairy tale of a woman, thank you

For being my friend, and for being you
