All is nothing, as nothing is all... Transparent thoughts. Zen meditation, Koan, Elisa Laura, Poetry.

An empty dream this life is not,

     For it has so many visions,

It brings, so many views, of skies,

     Of suns and moons delusions…

O’ life is real, and life is earnest!

     I dreamt of a transparent one;

I wished upon a hill, "for life",

     And was a heroic in the strife!

Yet, I became so down to earth;

     I saw the lilies swimming sober;

I met the earthly ground again,

     And life was but an empty dream

In the opening stanza, the speaker seems to be flooded by the visions of life, and the many perspectives that exist. Life lays its bounty on the table and lets this speaker choose what she wishes to have. So she prays for an answer to her problems, arriving at the point in the third stanza. In those lines, she is grounded and centered. However, life seems to have lost its luster. The fact that it is an empty dream could indicate that she is able to choose what to create. On the other hand, all of her visions could have left her, leaving the world with much less color than when she started. Quite a lot to ponder in a small package, my friend. I enjoyed this one!

Good music and amazing poetry. The flow of thoughts and the ending open the door to thoughts and wonder. The sober ending left me with sadness. I wonder does one life really matters? Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

You have sharp eyes dear friend, thank you for being here, sincerely, Elisa
Amazing! (Yoga song is one of my favorite!) I love the deep philosophy in all lines...Specially when we start to think how the things transform in the nature, they can be quite changing, sun and moon, when I was really little child, everyone thought i`m crazy as one day I said "all is nothing and nothing is all", and really understood that deeply. beautiful piece!
