~ Enter my World

From dark shades, and glimpses of reality,

I dreamt you all again, and so vividly

This time a little different though,

You all knew me, by the scent of life,

And followed me across the canals

To this castle where we seem to be now

I whispered through thin air, and clouds

Of fresh dew of March, you’d may enter

The gate of my heart, and as I wished I

Was there too, but I escaped

Into another chamber of thoughts

Yet, the masqueraded perfume still flew

Across the halls of hope, and the

Doors of the heart chambers, where locked;

The red ceiling, and the golden curls above

Merged with white plaster art

Where swinging  in front of the imagination of

Understanding this real dream, yet I felt it;

Far away music, from one of the rooms,

And I turned around, I saw you there

All standing and saying nothing;

And as we looked to each other deep

In the eyes, so felt each other, and

Sang a song, of poetic dreams;

Of lucid dreams, inside of our distance

It is curious how people that have never physically met can feel such a deep connection to one another. Coincidence upon coincidence may be no coincidence at all, but something that was meant to be.

We observe these commonalities, synchronicities, dreams that touch dreams that touch reality. At times we know what will come to pass by forefeeling as of visions from sleep, and I do wonder, now and again, why?

Really, that specific perfume you smelled, hours later I am still like, wuutt??

I am thankful for these invisible strings that connect minds alike, the works of the Universe, these magnetic vibes which brought me both of you. I know we are many in this wonderful write of yours for your heart is immense, a glorious castle, to house all :) It is where you have us dancing and singing, in your European warmth, we are beating too.

Nothing but love in your direction x

As always you move into a different dimension with thoughts and interpretation of another place which far outreaches the average person and writer. Vivid, unusual, almost scriptural.. a beckoning of senses. Dreams so often wrap enduring logic, hope, love, stillness. I'm sure you - above anyone, knows that.

Thank you for a wonderful and heartfelt review dear Emma. I'm glad you enjoyed. :)
Sis, I truly loved this piece... It's mystical and filled with enchanting references to music, art, and lucid dreams...
I felt as if I were right there!

You grasp a world that only few can understand... and I am so lucky to step into the realm of your reveries!... so many doors to open and mysteries of the heart to be revealed..

This is like a maze to a dream gate of your heart....a Fantastic imagery, love!~xoxoxo~:)

I am loving this one! :)

It could be about the castle being a metaphor to the mind of royalty writers that sometimes share the same ideas and being useless running to a different part of the world because there could be another writer there that sees the same dream at a different time "but I escaped Into another chamber of thoughts".

I would say you painted it perfectly. You use the etherial like colors to paint a vivid lusterous portrait of your dream, I may as well be in it myself... Amazingly beautiful and a pleasure to read.

Elisa! I remember you telling me about this poem in our conversation yesterday - now I can understand where the comparison might have come from with "Eyes Wide Shut."

Nonetheless, I never would've thought you "plagiarized" the idea, and even if you had, who cares? From what I can see, you are a very intuitive, perhaps even psychic person. Your dreams and visions are the perfect thing to inspire poetry and other writings.

I'm actually reminded more of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" here than "Eyes Wide Shut," to tell you the truth. Lines like, "You all knew me, by the scent of life/And followed me across the canals/
To this castle where we seem to be now" seem reminiscent of Lewis Carroll's work.

Ultimately, they're your visions, your intuition, and no critic can take that away from you.

I did! :) aww, thank you and you too!
Finding that melody, sweetly flowing from a far away place, turning to see this one, of love and affection, near, but far...running to find the answer...lost in every question found, still they remian close enough to touch, to taste, to feel...waiting within our hearts. My sweet friend. This was deep and oh so alluring. To step within your dream is a dream to many and that includes me. Beautifully penned Elisa.

Lovely, Elisa! Such a vivid dream!
It makes me think... That distance is not a measurable space, but one that we create by choice, to be close to someone..... Or so very far away... But that you can meet, lock eyes and touch hearts, in these dream spaces, that can be ever so real, if both wish for them to be... Even from across the world, we can connect...
And thank you to the human gods, for Internet and Skype and the WC...

^^ ahh Elisa this is such a touching and inspiring poem.. This connection you speak of is just as powerful as if you were physically there and possibly even stronger from reaching out mentally and spiritually to keep this connection alive. Thank you for writing this magnificent poem. *sighs
