Rain

Rain

A Poem by

Tumbling silently
It glitters in the wind
Dripping tenderly
In unison
Landing in various textures
Tasting of salt
Causing miracles or drought
An innocent liquid ball
Giving the world a gift of 'clean'
Prickling and causing my skin chills
Gliding on a leaf or a tree
Sensed by only the sky and the birds
Endearing mist
Bitter pouring
Powerful showers
Causing graceful flowers in the morning
Mixing with sun
The equation of a rainbow
Frozen in flakes
Winter is in store.
