Man Hunt and Bioshock

Man Hunt and Bioshock

A Poem by
"

A poem about my memories.

"
I'd love to go back to those exhilarating days
When the sun would just bathe us in its rays
Racing my friends to the end of our street road
But those times are over,
Since the ground was hit with snow.
Promises to never leave each other
Be friends until the end of time
Let's be honest, the pact was a burden
So we enjoyed the times together, with those cloudy skies.
And many times I thought that it would last forever
Our company was a must even in the stormy weather
But that was then, and this is now
An empty gap in my heart where you used to mound.
I guess I knew we'd grow apart
As we grew up and timed would pass
But it seemed all too sudden
And one day it was all gone
Those afternoons in the sun playing football in the grass.
I'm not like other girls, that was what I wanted
To grow up, hang with boys and not deal with girly drama
But hey, wishes sometimes don't come true
And instead, I'm eternally lonely without you.

A very good poem. Old memories become gold with age. To be able to look back at life to when a sunny day was for fun and pleasure. I like the story and the desire in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
