Dark One

Dark One

A Poem by

Wings dip low,
Dripping feathers below,
Drifting in the silent wind,
Scars showing feathers skinned.

Black of thy Raven,
Thoughts of Darkness, unshaven.
Skin so bright,
Dark feathers clouding the delight.

Oh Dark One, what do we call thee?
Will you stay or will you flee?

Author's Note

Basics of the poem is that darkness can so easily take away the good and show only pain, but that's not true. There is ALWAYS good beneath the bad. Tell me, what's this mean to you?

I like the good description. Create a good vision from your words. Darkness and light can be in one object. I like the ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
