This conveys a lot of emotion and can be connected to many things like death and break-ups. What was your original thought?

Very good. Well done.

My intention was for readers to take in the words and see how they feel about it. For me this poem is about moving on from something painful, such as a break-up. But my brother read it and he said it reminded him of how he felt when our aunt died, he felt like crying but couldn't and he couldn't say goodbye to her. Thank you for the review.

That is how I felt. The dying thing. My uncle died about a year ago and I felt this exact way. I actually just wrote a poem about it. You should show it to your brother and see if he felt the same way I just want to know if it describes how it feels for other people too. It is called A Deadly Night.
