Forgive Me For Missing You

Forgive Me For Missing You

A Poem by

Tonight I'm feeling so alone.
I miss the smell of his sweet cologne.
I miss the feeling of his arms around my waist,
I caress my skin where that last kiss was placed.

I lie in bed at night reminiscing,
Missing the old times of sweet kissing.
Love's not what it used to be,
Defined as the fruit of the poisonous tree.

I no longer know what to do.
Forgive me for missing you.
