Overexposed

Overexposed

A Poem by

Tonight feels like the night for sorrow.
Living with no regrets until tomorrow.
You're feeling so useless,
But you have so many uses.
This is not the last night,
Last night to feel trite.
Soon the sun will shine,
And, my darling, you'll be fine.

Arm are empty and minds are closed.
Love is dead and the world is opposed.
Too much tedious daily life,
Overexposed feelings of strife,
Blindly searching for a sharpened knife,
Cutting away all that life composed.
