Silent Hell

Silent Hell

A Poem by

My dreams are seas of hidden desires.
Strung together in endless lengths of wire.
My corpse is drained of all it's power,
My spirit is useless, conscious is left to cower.
We all have our secrets that we never tell,
Even as we shiver in our own silent Hell.
Pick your battles; each demon is a trial.
Wake up from thy dreams, so hostile.
My essence has failed to listen,
Upon the realm my soul glistens.

I like this part a lot! I can relate to it. Thanks!
It's very true. We all go through our own trials that make us who we are and we all have secrets that turn out to be... well our selves, If that makes sense.
Great job!
Keep up the good work!

This is so awesome. I really like the creative rhyming, and it has a sequence that I really like. Great job.

"We all have our secrets that we never tell, Even as we shiver in our own silent Hell. " I love it. That is my favorite part. Awesome poem. I find this all too true. Everyone has secrets and depending what they are may keep us in our own little hell. Brilliant. (At least in my opinion, lol).

First stanza is my favourite. Pulled me in quick, cool piece.
