You're My Galaxy

You're My Galaxy

A Poem by

Its nights like these when the moon is brightest in the sky,
I feel what once was hidden behind my closed eyes.
The world above me shines with everlasting light,
Each twinkling star is twinkling so bright.

Every sun surrounded in darkness is a hidden piece of me,
A piece of me that you will never see.
You see that rainbow ring around the moon
Encasing that lunar light in my cocoon?

Comets fly across my sky with every tear I cry.
This ecliptic love is killing me, can't you say goodbye?
You flare my star, it shines so lustrously.
Darling, you're my galaxy.

Gaze upon thy aurora's shine,
My Milky soul is so divine.
You're appearance is a transit sight.
Dance with me in universal delight.
