Karma

Karma

A Poem by
"

karma is a b**ch.

"

You will never find the light

If your eyes stay closed

You can see all around you, right?

So don't act like you don't know this light.

In spite of all the things you did,

You will wind up sitting where the devil lives.

Your karma ;

is the Reason that you will burn like gas.

Yes, i'm a little passive, but hey.

I'll be the last one laughin'

Karma will determine your eternity.

Unless, you intervene.

You can lie, but you'll be soaking in sin.

When you die, I can watch your karma begin.

This struck me as an odd piece. It’s almost as if every other stanza is off. Maybe it’s just my interpretation of Karma in the Hindu/ Buddhist sense that’s getting in the way. The poem makes it sound as if Karma is something tormenting you in Hell. The burn gas bit is confusing. I will say that the final couplet is nice. The tone has a nice smirking malice to it.

Regards,

E

Great piece- this is really very thought provoking. Karam can be good or bad at times.

I so agree with this, karma does exists in some shape or form andthe way you have written it emphasises that ideal reallly well :D
