The Clock on the Wall

The Clock on the Wall

A Poem by Alexzandera

A shadow in the hall
the moonlight on the carpet
A moth on the ceiling
the man in the door
A girl sleeping soundly
the cat by her feet
A cricket in the distance
the light flicking off
A long night ahead says
the clock on the wall

Nice logical flow of thoughts. Clocks do control us. Life is being in the right place at the right times. Thank you Alex for sharing the excellent poetry.

You show a good eye for detail, Alex...this flowed quite nicely!
