Silence

Just another of my older works..this one is one of my favorites

The echos of silence
Where have all the songs gone?
I hear only silence .
Where has all the laughter fled?
I hear only silence
And it echos with saddness , it echos with pain
I hear it echo in the pouring rain .
My heart feels it's presence , my soul it's bitter cry
The silence still echos as the days go by .
