Sun and Earth

Sun and Earth

A Poem by Wylderness
"

Foolin Around

"

Lavender hillsides,

Sparkle beneath a wanton sky.

Earth goddess smooth and full

Glittering rivers of metallic purple,

Deep and turbulent passions flow.

You are desire.

I am the fire.

Come quench me.

Feel me against your soft…

Touch my burn to your…

Quickly before I fall

Violet wet skin shimmer,

Beckon, touch and torture,

You are desire.

I am the fire.

Come quench me.

Yet I blaze again, burning you

Tearing you from your sky

My red crown rips through

The morning placid calm

And I alight upon your plumrose breast.

You are desire.

I am the fire.

Come quench me.

Strong..."You are desire. I am the fire." I really like it.

Powerfully written, with a vivid life all its own. You create a beautiful imagery of the earth, in a music and metaphor that is filled with grace.
