Opinions

Opinions

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Dealing with people's opinions and this resulted.

"
They say one should not ask
What they don't want answers to
Asking my opinion is no exception
Or how I feel
Yet you asked
Getting mad at my responses
Didn't for your master plan
But you must have forgot
You wanted the thoughts swimming in my mind
Not yours
I'm no mindless slave
Look elsewhere if that is your desire
I won't be a slave to you
Or any other
I will spill my mind through my lips
If you only ask
So why disgust for getting what you want
No two people are exactly the same
Thoughts are not always reflections
Not even twins have cloned thoughts
I listen to your opinions
And your feelings on things
Maybe I disagree from time to time
Or offer constructive criticism
Rather than disdain and compunction
My humble opinion always stings to you
As if I poured salt in a wound
So maybe you should just tell others
How they should feel about things
You always seemed better at that
Then hearing anything strait
So don't ask for opinions
If your mind is already stuck on your own thoughts
