Desire

Desire

A Poem by Wynter Ignatius
"

Raw carnal desire was on my mind while writing this.

"
Animal inside restless
Caged too long
Desperate to escape
Join the hunt
Thrill, the "kill"
Wolf is hungry
Yet not fed
Release not planned
Not even leashed
Sedated it remains
Still it attempts
To escape bondage
Will so strong
Master and beast
Waring in minds
Pushed far away
Key already gone
Not on person
Given to another
Holding all back
