Frozen Tears

Poor little girl...
So lost,
So alone,
She can't turn back,
She can't go home.
Her heart's so broke,
She can't control her fears,
She cries in a corner,
Seeing nothing through the frozen tears.
She calls for help,
But no one's there,
She reaches out for you,
But you don't care.
You kick her when she's down,
You laugh at her as she crumbles to the ground.
You shake your head in disgrace,
As the frozen tears run down her face.
What kind of friend are you,
To let her slowly die?
You watch her as she suffers,
You ignore her helpless cry.
Soon she will be gone,
Stolen by the angel of death,
And you will be there smiling,
As she draws her last breathe.
Poor little girl...
So lost,
So alone,
She can't go back,
She's on her own.

Wow.. this is sad and ravaging.. such deep free-flowing emotion.. I think many feel this way sometimes when life gets us down.. tough love is what they call it.. but I call it wrong!!! How anyone can kick someone when they are down is beyond me.. heartless.. horrible.. I have felt that from some including family members.. raised with that.. however I don't use that with my children as I know how it feels! Great breakdown of what it feels like to be alone.. and cold. Thank you for sharing.. I look forward to seeing more work from you! =)
