What is Love?

What is love? When is love? Why is love? Where is love?

"I love you..."

such complicated words,

some wish to hear them,

some have already heard.

Is it a promise,

is it a regret,

is it something that,

a heart will not forget?

Is it a good-bye,

is it a hello,

Is something that,

only you and I know?

What is love?

What does it have to do with us?

Does it decide our fate,

or plan our future dreams,

does it have a firm hold

on you and me.

Tell me,

but only if you know,

what is love?

Why won't it let go?
