The Liar and the Fool

Poor fools

A liar and a loser,

a teaser and a user. 

No faith in anyone,

living to serve yourself,

You're better off alone,

dead, if nothing else. 

You lie to get your way,

you hide your secrets from the day.

Don't let them see the beast

who hides behind the mask,

Keep it in the dark, 

this chance could be your last.

All she does is hurt me,

but her eyes hold a truth,

I love her like she'll never know,

A freedom gained by a loss of youth.

I helped her through it all,

I was always by her side,

"You'll always be only one"

Yet another lie. 

I crave to be around her,

she only pushes me away,

I know i'm being used,

but, God I love the pain!

Let her lie to me.

Let her use me.

I've never known a better thrill,

than the way that she abuses me.

He's always there to hold me back,

chains that drag me down,

I'm suffocating in his love,

I cannot block the sound.

"I'll always love you, my princess."

A lovesick Romeo,

but I'm not his Juliet. 

His eager heart has gotten me far,

But it's become too much,

I find myself dying,

with every single touch.

It's time for me spread my wings and fly,

A new world, a new love,

I've already bled him dry.

Goodbye, you fool,

I'm done with you.
