It's fine

It's fine

A Poem by Ghost Writer

My darling please put the blade away,

For once please listen to what I say.

 The blade won't heal you,

Put the sharpness down.

If you slit your wrists and reveal a battlefield,

The blood that drips won't heal you.

 Put the sharpness back,

Open your eyes.

Don't cry please dry your tears,

I'm here to protect you and fight your fears.

Lay your head on my shoulder,

I'm right here to hold you.

 Put the pill bottle down,

Dump out the liquor.

 They won't heal your heart,

Only end your life quicker.

Don't close your eyes for the last time,

Take in the world until the end of your life.

Instead of finding the darkness in light,

Open your wings and let yourself fly. ~
