Love is pain

Why?
Why is a feeling so pure
so painful?
Why is a feeling so happy
so sad?
Why is it so esy to get
but so hard to get rid of?
Love is pain
like a dagger that cuts it's way
deep into your heart
only to break it apart
to make you feel
like you want to die
like you were just flying
then fell from the sky
you can't stand the sight
of them with someone else
it doesn't feel right
But what can you do?
I wish that I knew
But I don't
so here I am
hanging on this rope
I lost all hope
love is pain
my life is over
only death remains

Raw emotional writing.. very true and sad.. why can't we have love without pain??? Well when you truly give it your all to the wrong person (you don't know that you will do this until the end) and they take, take, take and do not give the same back or they just aren't that right one.. it's doomed. Many people try too hard to make things work ... the want of someone truly special sometimes makes us desperate and see things they may not be there I feel. The lucky find the love of a lifetime.. the one who endures all.. many will not find this sadly.. I have felt what you have written a few times in my life.. but it is better to have had love than never had the joy of not knowing love at all.. I am a forever romantic and will never give up!!! Thank you for sharing and reminding me that I can't ever give up!! =)
