Down the trail and across the creek

The explorer roams inside the wood

Looking for creatures

Looking for treasures

Never knowing what might linger

Into a cave and up a tree

Everywhere there is something to be found

Leaves of gold fall in autumn

Snowfall comes in winter's time

Flowers awaken the eyes of spring

While beautiful birds fly and sing

Mysteries surround us in plain sight

Even in the midst of a misty midnight

Fireflies glowing in the old, oak tree

Howling wolves in a pack of three

The Moon shines down on all that breathes

Giving blessing to those that see
