Thou's Beauty

Thou's Beauty

A Poem by Xander West

Thou's Beauty

Oh, how thy heart throbs this very summer night,
To know such beauty as yours exists to heartbreakingly admire,
For how can thine heavens ever compare to such glorious sight,
Mere presence only captures all artists' gift to reach what thou inspires,

Oh, how thy heart now throbs gazing upon heavenly skies,
For evermore thy stars' brightness pale to the beauty of you,
Even moon's arching dance falls short of thou's enthralling eyes,
For eternity thy shall compare all of Angels to thou's darlings view.

Oh, such aches of thy heart while sailing sapphire blue seas,
No intoxicating white sands or whispering waves could compare,
For never more shall thy lost heart proudly beat free,
Lost to thou's beauty my only heart was so quickly snared.

Oh, such pains I now understand how ignorance is bliss,
For ever more life's flairs shall spark little desire of mine,
After so small a moment my lips eternally beg for one loving kiss,
Such beauty as thou's shall never see equal in all of time.
