Are You Even Listening?

Are You Even Listening?

A Poem by J Harding
"

How can you make any sense out of a damaged relationship? Once the trust is broken between you, it's very hard to even have a clear conversation.

"

What?
Oh come on, you know I didn't mean it.
Please.
Stop taking things to heart.
My fault?
How can you say that?
Whatever.
Are you even listening?
Hello?
Fine, have it your way then.
Goodbye.

Author's Note

J Harding
Blame Anicca for this atrocity, she made me feel like writing something, so I threw this up onto the page. Pretty poor now I look at it, but I must learn from my mistakes so please, critique me.

Poor? Sometimes it's pieces like these that are the best, easiest to relate to, convey your message. The emotion in this is incredibly strong, it's raw and just. Piece's like these can either be accepted or not: there's no changing them. I loved this.

Ah - 'word vomit'? - haha

really - in all seriousness it is a simple piece that speaks a lot. Definetly relatable - a great, raw piece of writing
