Blue Blood

Blue Blood

A Story by Xavier Mathis McIntosh
"

The second segment of a novelette I'm writing called Little Talks.

"
Hide to hold, and love to live. We all need this.

Trapped in the mind, lovers to the end,
Until we are old, we sing of life.

After all the loss, we try to hold on,
We separate.

A cut in the heart, it's black and blue,
Maybe what they say is true.

Never loved as much for you.

You were too good,
And I'm not good enough,
We dreamed of a future,
Now we are done,
Too young...

Wow.. I really like this. It's sweet but sad and I love the mood of this. The flow was flawless, and the structure was good. I like this. :)
