The Rose and the Heart

I did not write this, a friend of mine did and I thought I would see what others thought about it.

A heart unbeating taken by a withered rose
Both equal broken but together 
The heart powered the rose
the rose resurrected the the heart
The heart became alive and beating
Whilst the rose flourished 
Even though seperated they
Continue to beat and grow
With mile between them nothing
Can sever the connection
Between an unbeating heart and a withered rose
