Don't Read This

In the interest of time
You should just leave
This poem isn't for you
It'll only make you grieve

Why are you here
Reading these lines
Why haven't you left
Did you miss the signs

You should just go
Before it's too late
Before you read something
That cultivates your hate

I'm trying to warn you
You have nothing to gain
Continuing to read
Will only lead to pain

Why won't you listen
Why won't you heed
Save yourself the trouble
I promise there's no need

This isn't for you
It's not even for me
I don't know what you expect
There's nothing here to see

I guess you're ready
To finish what you began
I can't believe you're here
Anyone sane would have ran

You've come to the end
And that is no crime
I hate to tell you
But you've wasted your time

As requested, I didn't read it. But had I; I would say excellent play with words.
