Cobwebbed Insanity

Cobwebbed Insanity

A Poem by Akoka Folami
"

I haven't written a piece in a while because of a boggled mind. So I decided to start up writing again by writing about boggled dreamy minds!

"

Lost in a world

Swirling with question

Brought back by a curled

Tensing sensation

I go back to my mind

Cobwebbed and lonely

Abandoned by time

Lost by insanity

I'm looking for something

To swipe up the webs

But I go on trusting

Swallowed up by eternities ebb

I hear a distant call

Like a war horn from a nation

Brought back into all

The tensing sensations

The end is kind of iffy. I'm not really sure if I want to keep this one, but please read and review!

It's lacking a bit of fluidity, but hey, that happens to me ALL the time. So, don't worry about it unless you want to make it flawless. Anyway, I love the subject matter and how you portrayed your feelings into such original descriptions. And, by the way, I actually kind of like the ending. And the second to last stanza is pretty awesome. Great poem :D

i think your right. there could be more added to the end, but then again the sharp drop off at the end kind of gives it a more unique feel than most poems of its kind. i like it either way :)
