Failure to say what you mean, failure to show how you feel

Voiceless Scream

 

The wind, it prances around, 

Races through my hair, 

Playfully tickles my fingers, as they reach out to chase air,

Can you see it Mother? Can you hear its snicker?

 

Look me not in the eyes, the answer lies not there,

look at the perfect lines, wherein rests peace,

look at the stones aligned, aren’t they gorgeous?

Hold me not, for there is no comfort there,

see what i see, the laugh of the tree 

hear what i hear, a cloud's sneeze

 

Oh i want to scream and shout, I want to yell out loud

I have so much to say, so much to share

I want to love you, I want to hate you

I want to embrace you, I want to trample you

I have so much to express, if only you could hear my story,

Oh curse this vessel that imprisons me!

 

Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, can you feel my joy?

I yearn to tell you, I wish i could show you

hear my plea, hear my voice, if only you could see

I scream loud, i slam doors, only so you can feel

I stare at the clouds, I count the grains of sand,

I pound, I kick,

I punch, I smack,

 

Oh so much to say, so much to share,

This love of mine, a source of despair,

Can you not see what i wish to show?

Can you not hear the song of my soul?

I run, I crawl,

I march, I fall,

 

Please hear that i adore you so,

Heavens, see what i cannot show
