Your Forrest

Your Forrest

A Poem by YM23
"

To lose oneself in another - a slumber you wish never to wake from

"

Waltzing slowly amidst the Forest
An enchanting mist blankets the trees
A phantom of a river of velvet smoke

You hide the path, i am lost
Yet I know I belong, don't hide for I do not seek,
The moss of your trees cushions my heavy head
And the song of your leaves lulls me to sleep

I am dancing amidst your Forrest
Spinning endlessly between your branches
Carelessly unaware of the world beyond

Don't wake me from slumber, I beg
Let me roam in your shadows
As you whisper me the song of your roots
