If It Was the End of the World

If It Was the End of the World

A Poem by Initium

I'd follow my senses to the ocean and stare out at the stars.
Now I have everything except hope, but time says I must leave things as they are.
I'd let the tide wash over or even bathe in the sun.
Though I'm not yet an author, I still had fun.
I not may have survived the apocalypse in one piece.
I am finally free.
