Lost Part of Myself

Lost Part of Myself

A Poem by Matt Penrose

where is it?

in which tree did i hide it?

in which backyard did i bury it?

come back to me

light my way

to the mountains

the hidden sanctuary

the stone walkway

the silent fields

those empty pastures and

tall, waving gums.

all a garden for me to enjoy.

This was very beautiful, and the way you conveyed how the place looked was perfect :)
