fleeting moments

fleeting moments

A Poem by Yheela

there's a twinkle in your eye, I like to believe it's because of me, for when we speak, of inconsequential things, I feel in my heart, three unspoken words

***

I know you're watching me, I can see you there, from the corner of my eye,  nothing can appease the fluttering butterflies, they seem intent on making me blush

***

waves crushing pebbles, scattering seashells across the sand, my heart sings with the wind, for you my love, you are my ocean

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Such an enchanting poem. Is it literal or metaphor? That is for you to know or the reader to decide. Personally I see both the description of possibly unrequited love or simply a love of nature and the sea.

I can't remember what I wrote this about, but both of your interpretations are alright with me. ^_^

I think it was unpure thoughts!
