I miss

I miss

A Poem by Geoffrey Spriggott

Insincerity and hard tangled thoughts.
Soft, giving, furnishings and pale, violet lights,
The air fraught with immodesty and ache.

Transgression on a shoe-string.
Love, minus something……… oh right -
Love.

this is a perfect math problem, like love is.

it is what it is minus the negative which takes away from its glow.

this is like a one sided love and eventually that adds up to zero.

nicely imaged poem.

Love as a math problem, that's an interesting way of looking at it. Thanks for your kind words jacob
