Oh, There Was Never A Name So Sweet

Oh, There Was Never A Name So Sweet

A Poem by Zachary Dary

Oh, there was never a name so sweet.
As the one that rolls off my tongue.
When you are around, my eyes are transfixed.
Glued on you.
Your eyes.
Your hair.
Your smile.
Your body.
Your beauty.
Your perfection.
You may see flaws that only you can see.
As I see my flaws that only we can see.
Let me help you.
I will show you that your flaws are nothing.
Figments of your imagination.
Let me clear the air of the dust that clouds your vision
And covers the beauty.
When you see yourself the way I see you,
I will let you go.
I will back off and erase your trace.
I will remove the fingerprint you have left on my life.
You will be happy and content.
And that will be all that will matter.
You are my brother, my confidante, and my best friend.
And I love you so much.
