Never A Love So True

Never A Love So True

A Poem by Cats Eye

The hair upon his head
Is as smooth as silk
The curls in his brown hair
Wrap around my fingertips
Begging me not to leave his side

His big brown eyes
Stare up at me like puppy dog eyes
Locking with my eyes
In his ever loving gaze
He silently tells me not to go

His lips
As soft as velvet
Gently brushing against mine
Locking me in a gentle hold
Holding me back for just a split second

His muscled arms
Are so well balanced
As they gently hug me
Strongly embracing me
Preventing me form leaving him.
