No Love but the Vast Sky

No Love but the Vast Sky

A Poem by Cats Eye

A heart that belongs is the sky
Longs to see the vast rolling hills
The twisting roads
As they soar through the sky

A heart that belongs in the sky
Lives to feel the soft touch of the gentle breeze
To drift amongst the currents of the wind
As they soar through the sky

A heart that belongs in the sky
Longs to float through the clouds
To be hidden by their thickness
As they soar through the sky.
