when will africa have peace?

when will africa have peace?

A Poem by zie Da Story Teller Poet
"

war devides my continent

"
When will africa have peace?.

We saw the inethic babaric ways
That south africans were bieng placed under
By boeres at that time
We saw of the unfair collonisations
And wars that claimed alot of lives during this time
I ask
When will africa have peace?

We stand united
Yet devided
Yet we dont see
For we are blinded by the resemblance of peace
that flashes like a star in the sky
when will africa have peace?

we stood together fighting for the 200 girls of nigeria
abducted by the infamous terrorist boko haram,
We stood and watched
Yet they never returned,
We stood still whilst watching
the horror of
nigeria bieng torn apart
innocent lives lost
my God
When will africa have peace?

We stood and watched as rivers were stained red with blood,
as sudan was bieng devided into a nations of two,
friends turned to enermies
by civil war
attackes after attacks
When will africa have the peace it deserves?

We now stand and watch as burundi struggles to keep peace
We've failed to keep a nation united
bombs after bombs
limbs and body are supperated from each other
seeds shall never grow in happiness
but in vein they shall become trees
when will africa have peace?

we saw the raise and fall of egypt
we saw the devision of burundi
we saw the rage of nigeria
when will africa rejoyce?
When will we enjoy the fruits of freedom?
When will africa enjoy a year of peace?
When will africa have peace..

Well Ol' Chum, I can recall a time whilst I was on safari in Timbuktu and I had been given chase by a rather large pride of lions. Naturally, I tossed my best man Geoffery to stave off the large beasts with emaciated viscera. The last of our boys gathered, saluted King and Country and sang The Minstrel Boy as they were devoured one by one. The scene had reminded me of my service to the late Viceroy of Punjab during the Sepoy Mutiny. Fortunately, the last act of bravery by the last expedition members proved to be enough of a distraction to allow me to escape with no less that three maidservants so that we may make our own tussling of the shrubs. Bully!
