"Life is Just So Daily"

A Poem by Zoe Anne
"

This poem is a normal conversation, between a father and a son, about daily life...

"
"Life is Just So Daily"

"What's the headline for today, son?"
"Well Dad, it's 'Johnny Had So Much Fun'"!"
"Why's that, Johnny?"
"It's because today was so sunny!"
"What did you do?"
"Oh, we just swam in the pool."

"We?"
"Yeah, with Bob, Ron, and Tommy."
"Did you have relay races?"
"Yep, and we didn't care about the 1st 2nd and 3rd places,
We just wanted to have fun."
"And so you have... Is that all you did son?"

"Well, we did play kick the can!"
"That's just grand!
I used to play that when I was your age!"
"Really when people would call those times 'The Stone Age'?"

"Hey now Johnny you'll be my age one day,
With kids that will say:
'Oh you're so old,
That you're covered with mold!'"
"Well Dad, I don't know if that will happen,
But at least I'll live a life that's snappin!"

"Forget about it! It'll just happen!"
