"Mausoleum of Misfits"

"Mausoleum of Misfits"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

“Mausoleum of Misfits”

I am among all the misfits,

All up to our nasty tricks.

We stick razor blades in apples,

And tell nasty old fables.

During chemistry we blow up things,

And listen to the metal and its clings.

We clash stuff together,

And our backs are as light as a feather.

We kill flowers,

Because we have that much power.

We make factories,

To mass-produce pixel stories.

They kept us all in a mausoleum,

Because we abused the Pythagorean theorem.
