Spinning around

Spinning around

A Poem by ZoëWorks

For the girl with night pinned on her cheek
Who raised her voice
When they wouldn't hear her speak
For all the times we called you freak
The world keeps spinning around

To the one who was always slaving
Who cried and prayed for
A life worth saving
Even when your heart is caving
The world keeps spinning around

For the boy who always ran
Who's mama begged
Just to be a man
Because things don't happen like you plan
The world keeps spinning around

For you with your paper skin
You always fought
Your heart held like tin
For another life lost to the safty pin
The world keeps spinning around

About
I've never been a great writer. I have horrible grammar and sometimes I use their instead of there. I put unnecessary information into my essays and stray from the topic. I hand out commas and clich.. more..
