Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster

A Poem by Zune

You’re an emotional rollercoaster,

One with too many ups and downs.

Too many twists and turns,

Too many loop rounds.

You’re an emotional rollercoaster,

One that leaves me hanging upside down.

Jolting at each corner,

Going around and around.

You’re an emotional rollercoaster,

One that makes me sick.

I can never feel good around you,

You make my stomach flip.

It’s not that I don’t like you,

(Forgive me if that’s what you think,)

It’s just that your emotions,

Change within a blink.

I can not take this any longer.

Every time you change I wonder,

Am I the one to blame?

Why are we both so different,

Or are we really just the same?

I call you immature,

But maybe that is I,

For I am not sure how to love,

And you know how to cry.

All I want is freedom,

But all you have are chains.

You have taken down my armor,

And now you give me pain.

You say that I don’t understand,

But I really do,

How it feels to love someone,

When they do not love you.

I am not sure how to love.

But I do know how it feels.

It’s just this old wound I have,

It has yet to heal.

Please don’t pull me down,

For I have finally learned to fly.

Give me back my freedom,

Let me live until I die.

reminds me of some of my early stuff....But it is poetry because it comes from the heart.....you do need to slow down a bit and edit now and then, it sort of strays a bit.....Good work though
