Nobody

Nobody

A Poem by TogetherAgain

Who will care
when I die?
It's as they say,
"We are grains of sand"
In the end
Nobody cares.

Who will remember
five years from now?
Ten
Fifty
One hundred?

Absolutely no-one,
That is the answer.
Falling through time,
I am nothing.

Just like shards
of a broken rock
stepped on
by a shoe;
I am invisible
to the eye,
A blur of white
on dark
Barely making a mark

Slowly

fading
to

nothing.
