No one understands why I wait for her... No one believes

I think of you and I smile with tremendous pain.

An agony which I long to feel again.

I find myself torn between the cruel reality of an endless distance, a relentless feeling of nothing and memories that haunt me whilst I close my eyes to escape for blissful release.

And a single whisper…

Only I can hear it…

Four words that give me a reason to breathe.  A reason to exist. A reason to be.

She will come back.

For you I believe.

I open my eyes.

A vacant memory yet I see you before me.

And you are beautiful.
