To flinch

To flinch

A Poem by a_methyste
"

To flinch How familiar I am with it How well I know it At home At love At work To become a sea shell That never ever talks to anyone For anything.

"
To flinch
How familiar I am with it
How well I know it
At home
At love
At work

To become a sea shell
That never ever talks to anyone
For anything.

Sensitive people draw back, naturally - a mix of self-doubt and the fear of getting hurt by rejection.
Sea-shells are very beautiful.

Some of us are less trusting and more shy for a multitude of reasons. I’m quiet around people I don’t know and I can be a bit of an introvert in certain situations and certain days.
