I'm Calling You Out

I'm Calling You Out

A Poem by aaronbranch

Honestly, it's obvious.
I wanna be monogamous.
My heart and head,
Synonymous.
I'm promising.
Not ominous.
Don't wanna be autonomous.
But this good guy will remain anonymous.
Til' I build up, more confidence.
Am I just dense?
Am I just?
I am destined,
So I must.
Adapt.
Adjust.
Compelled by my utter disgust.
Cuz it doesn't matter how many nuts you bust,
When it's just lust.
Throw away the pie,
Keep the uppercrust.
Know better than to trust these s***s.
I need to crush without being crushed.
So, if you're plush,
Robust.
I'll make you blush.
No rush.
