back to jerusalem

back to jerusalem

A Poem by A.r. Bazian

back to jerusalem

what i saw of beauty
what i saw of life
deceived
disfigured
dishonered
to become much like a b*****d
no truth
nor pride
to look apon thy wall
to break through
and take it all
and ur left with nothing
to unbreak this fall
when laughters cry
and love betrays

should we make a stand
or should we turn away
shall we burry our souls?
or stand life...
and all it holds
the pain
the misery
the beauty
the lies
the smiles
never to give up
to fight the darkness
and never stop

even when we are hurt
even when we are abandoned
stabbed
or even burned
for we stand in hope
to all man
so join me
give me ur hand
for its our soul
and ils our land

unchain ur purity
so free of hate
wake up
again
the fury has raged
hide not thy face
JERUSALEM
what blessed soil
apon thy lace
so free of sin and of disgrace
we're waiting to get u back
to mark our place
the light you shine
and your embrace

Jerusalem - aka Zion. To imagine the all that Jerusalem has witnessed, how the land has been treated. How we want to get back there, to what the land stands for. Jerusalem - hope! You write about the beauty and how we are letting it pass us by. Awesome words as usual!
