Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.4: sanity drowns with the sun

A Poem by A.r. Bazian

[Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.4: sanity drowns with the sun]

just like the sun
behind these boulders
drowns my breath
like this beautiful world
in glorious, eternal death!
such are those
whom are conquered with their pain
haunted by their past
and the taste of tears, in the pouring rain
and the pounding voice...
of their bolting chain!

the fear of man...
became later...
his prison, his bars of shame!
he fears that he shall lose, in his own game!
the faults of his devil,
rather than him to blame
there is a part of god in each of us,
the tunnel that calls for us, remains the same!
many are the versions of the story...
but one remains the aim!

yet, vary the choices
and the goals for us to claim
a part once called me...
has gone insane!
choices that go...
beyond my future
beyond the horizon
to the end of my lane!
a first battle has once been
now madness strikes again!
i guess its perpetual
in the heart of a young mind
in the black depth of my core
the ancient battle continuous
like tales for the Egyptian lore
for the forces of good, bad and evil...
shall struggle forever more
until i could see past my choices
i shall lock this door
for i shall not judge...
for what i am judged for!
in me, goodness has lost one battle...
but i have a good feeling...
that it shall win the war!!
