not so old... but it ain't new either!

[Diaries Of An Immigrant Soul, Pt.5: The Darkness within]

oh, death...
what lies within thy womb?
'tis not a dreadful fiend...
for the fear of you is lost!
such in this heart...
along with the dust!
gone with the pouring rain...
washed away it's must!
now thoughts of death...
like sea weed they clust'

a voice that once...
wished that i could fly...
now it it screams...
i want to die...
no longer this heart
can bare to cry...
if only my good love...
i could be with thee
if only my soul...
was like yours... flying free...
or wouldn't it be better,,,
if i had never even to be???!!
then hadn't we to suffer...
nor had this family!

oh, death...
come and take me!
for those heart has long been praying
and begging to thee!!
to break this chain,,,
of perpetual misery!

save these endless tears...
for both, them and me...
i shall wander for ye' not..
and thy shall come to me!
come feast this vain
come clear my memory...
before i go insane....
and curse the might of breath...
that brought this reverie!
